Acceptance of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and TrendLotto ("we", "us") covering your use of trendlotto.com, its subdomains, and the tools and community features offered on them (together, the "service").

By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal data and forms part of these terms.

Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old, and at least the minimum age at which a person may legally purchase a lottery ticket in your jurisdiction — 21 in some places — to use this service. You must not use it if you are barred from doing so under the laws that apply to you, or if you have previously been removed from it by us.

We do not offer the service everywhere, and we may restrict access to particular regions. The service is informational only and is not directed at anyone in a jurisdiction where publishing lottery result data or operating a site of this kind would be unlawful.

Your account

You can use most of the service without an account. If you register:

  • Provide accurate information, and keep your email address current — it is how we reach you about your account.
  • Keep your password confidential. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
  • Do not share your account, and do not create accounts in bulk or on behalf of others.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for your own account, so we recommend a password you do not reuse elsewhere. Changing your password signs out other sessions.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used to attack or overload the service, or where we are required to by law. Where we can, we will explain why.

No affiliation, and no lottery services

TrendLotto is an independent information service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America, Millionaire for Life, any state or national lottery, or any government body.

The names, logos and marks of those games and organisations belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the games whose published results we report.

Specifically, through this service we do not:

  • sell, issue, or broker lottery tickets;
  • act as an agent or intermediary for any lottery or retailer;
  • hold, handle, or transfer money or funds of any kind;
  • validate a ticket, determine entitlement to a prize, or pay a prize.

Our ticket checker compares numbers you type against results we have stored. It is a convenience. It has no legal effect and creates no entitlement. Only the official lottery that ran the draw can confirm and pay a prize, and you should never rely on a third-party website to do so.

Accuracy of data, and no warranty

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We mirror draw results, jackpot figures and prize breakdowns from public official sources and use reasonable efforts to keep them correct, but we do not warrant that anything on the service is accurate, complete, or current.

In particular:

  • Results may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. A feed can lag behind the lottery, or be corrected after we have already published it.
  • Advertised jackpot amounts are estimates published by the operator, and may change before and after a draw.
  • Prize tiers, odds and prize amounts can change when a game's rules change, and our descriptions may lag behind the change.
  • Trend charts and statistics are derived from stored history, so an error in the source propagates into them.

Always verify any result against the official source before acting on it — buying a ticket, checking a ticket, or disposing of one. If our pages and the official lottery disagree, the official lottery is right.

No prediction, and no advice

Nothing on this service predicts the outcome of a future draw, and nothing on it improves your chance of winning. Every draw is an independent random event with no memory of previous draws. Frequency counts, "hot" and "cold" numbers, "overdue" numbers, trend charts, generated picks and AI-written reports are all descriptions of past results or selections made by heuristics. They carry no predictive power, and no claim of predictive power is made or implied anywhere on the service.

Permission to use the service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own private, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

You may not:

  • copy, scrape, crawl or bulk-extract the service or its data, or resell, redistribute or republish it, except for the limited quoting allowed by applicable law;
  • use the service to build or train a competing service or a dataset of equivalent value;
  • frame, mirror or misrepresent the service, or remove or obscure notices of ownership;
  • attempt to access it other than through the interfaces we provide, or bypass authentication, quotas or rate limits;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of it, except where the law says you may;
  • use our name, logo or branding without our prior written permission.

We and our licensors retain all rights in the service — the interface, the code, the design, and the compilation and presentation of the data. The underlying draw results are public facts and we claim no ownership of them.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you submit — your display name, bio, avatar, saved tickets, saved numbers, and any posts you make on the community forum.

To operate the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of running and promoting the service. This licence ends for anything you delete, apart from copies retained in backups for a reasonable period and content others have already shared.

You are responsible for what you submit, and you must not submit:

  • content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, obscene, or that incites gambling-related harm;
  • content that infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • another person's personal information, or anything you do not have the right to publish;
  • spam, bulk promotional material, or misleading claims about winning or about the effectiveness of any prediction method.

We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, where we reasonably consider this clause has been breached. Content you post in public areas of the service — the forum in particular — is public, so do not post anything you would not want strangers to read. Please also follow any additional rules shown on the forum itself.

Prohibited conduct

Beyond the restrictions above, you must not:

  • interfere with or disrupt the service, including by flooding it, overloading it, or introducing malware;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or breach its security or authentication measures — except as part of a responsible disclosure agreed with us in advance;
  • impersonate TrendLotto, its team, or another user, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • use the service for fraud, or to launder money, or in connection with any unlawful gambling operation;
  • use automated means to create accounts, or to obtain results at a volume that impairs the service for others.

If you find a security issue, please report it privately to contact@trendlotto.com rather than exploiting it.

Availability and changes to the service

The service is free and we provide it on a best-efforts basis. We do not promise any particular level of availability, that it will be uninterrupted, or that any feature will continue to exist.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features — including parts of the service you rely on — at any time and without notice. We may also impose limits on usage to protect the service. Maintenance and third-party outages will cause downtime.

If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice on the site and tell you how to retrieve or delete your data.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and whether the claim arises in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data;
  • we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the service, including any decision to buy, not buy, keep or dispose of a lottery ticket, or any expectation about the outcome of any draw;
  • our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of USD 50 or the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim (which, while the service is free, is zero);
  • we are not liable for the acts or omissions of lotteries, retailers, data providers, hosting providers or other third parties.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing here affects statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence, and if any part of this clause is unenforceable against you, the rest of it still applies.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, loss, liability and reasonable cost arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service — including claims relating to content you submitted, or to your infringement of another person's rights.

We will let you know about any such claim, and we may take over its defence where we consider it appropriate. This clause does not apply to the extent the claim results from our own breach or negligence.

Ending this agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and the data attached to it, email contact@trendlotto.com from the address on the account. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion does and does not remove.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we end your access for a breach, you remain bound by the clauses that by their nature should survive — in particular those on intellectual property, liability, indemnity, and governing law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TrendLotto is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. However, if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these terms removes them.

Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at contact@trendlotto.com and describe the problem, and to give us 30 days to try to resolve it directly. Most issues are settled that way.

The courts of the jurisdiction named in this clause have jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved informally, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example when we add a feature or change how the service works. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will change, and for material changes we will make it clear on the site rather than editing the text quietly.

Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and ask us to delete your account if you wish.

General

  • Severability — if a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is replaced by an enforceable provision closest to its intent.
  • No waiver — if we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
  • Entire agreement — these terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
  • Assignment — you may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours, including to a successor operator of the service.
  • Third parties — no one other than you and us has the right to enforce these terms.
  • Headings — the section headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
